Pioneers of Aviation
Museum

Project
Overview
I centered the branding system around the Art Deco era, developing a cohesive visual identity that reflects the optimism and innovation of early aviation. The project included creating full brand guidelines and a range of supporting deliverables to ensure consistency across applications.
The Pioneers of Aviation Museum pays tribute to early innovators of flight through a visual system inspired by the Art Deco era. This period, spanning the 1920s and 1930s, marked the Golden Age of Aviation, when commercial air travel emerged, record-setting pilots captured public imagination, and aircraft design rapidly advanced. Art Deco’s streamlined geometry, metallic accents, and sense of forward motion echoed society’s excitement for speed, progress, and the future of flight.

Takeaways
This project marked my first time building a complete branding system, giving me a deeper understanding of how design shows up consistently and cohesively across different touchpoints. It strengthened my ability to think beyond individual assets and consider how every element works together to shape a unified brand experience.
